Eric LeMoyne is one of Canada's most versatile composers and
sound designers. For 20 years his creative touch has put the finish
on a number of productions for TV, film, the Web and games. From
the theme music for MuchMusic's Fax in 1990 to the shocking expose
Anthrax War in 2008, his music grips you with originality and
effectiveness.
With a jazz background from teacher Art Roberts and years as a
working keyboardist he sets the foundation of his career in the
Synclavier room in Studio Morin Heights. Numerous documentaries and
TV themes follow, four of which will be nominated at the Gemini
awards : 3 for best music, 1 for best sound. Of note, Paul Cowan's
Double or Nothing and Alan Handel's The Reichmanns and Liberty,
USA. The series Student Bodies, Technoplis and Finding Our Talk
have enjoyed great success in their respective markets. His talents
have been solicited by Ubisoft for Tarzan and Batman games, Global
for their morning show, and Josh Freed for his documentaries. Over
the last 5 years, Radio-Canada's Et Dieu créa Laflaque has relied
on his expertise in sound. Most recently the science-based
documentaries Naica : Into the Lost Crystal Caves, The Nature of
Things : To Bee or Not To Bee and Lethal Beauty have broadened his
musical horizon.
